World War 2 - 15mm Project - Part 2 - Scenery

Having purchased two opposing 15mm WW2 forces, I knew I would have to pick up a few bits of scenery as although I had a few trees, hedges and hills, the only 15mm buildings I owned were not really suitable. Not wanting to spend a fortune I found a load of cheap resin(£2-5) buildings on E-bay and a few MDF kits.

These two ruined MDF shops cost £5 on E-bay:

Whilst a have a few really nice trees saved from my (now sold) 20mm WW2 project, it wasn't really enough, so back to E-bay for a load of cheap Chinese trees which I chopped up a bit for some variation, once based they look ok:

After playing a big game of Bolt Action on a 6x4ft table, I realised I needed more buildings, so I picked these two lovely MDF buildings up

And this smaller building too(which was the same price as the larger), I must say this kit was a bit disappointing(all the other MDF kits went together fine and I would recommend them) and did not fit together very well or meet my expectations size-wise, in fact I nearly binned it half way through and I will probably turn it into to a ruin at some point.

Finally, I bought some Timecast fences and walls, having bought the same sets in 6mm, I knew they would be nice:

I realised I needed to base the gate after setting up this picture, so I got my 5 year old daughter to do it whilst I was doing something else:

I should have the last of my 15mm Sci-Fi colony buildings done in the next few days as I'm just slapping it on now as I'm sick of seeing them on my desk.
